Since I bought her Vigorelle™ she says sex feels so much better. Man, you can't imagine how great it is to hear that. Every aspect of lovemaking is better now that I know she wants it and loves it, too."

* Lack of communication Sometimes sisters simply don't tell their sexual partners what they need to get their groove on. Most women, for example, require more direct clitoral stimulation than they get from penis insertion into the vagina. But you are responsible for making sure your needs are satisfied. "The truth is, the happier you are sexually, the happier he'll be," says Hutcherson. Other orgasm-inhibiting culprits are rooted in * Medical problems, which may include depression, testosterone deficiency in perimenopausal and menopausal women (see "When You Have a Headache," page 88), and even hysterectomy. When performing hysterectomies, American surgeons tend to remove the cervix as well as the rest of the uterus to prevent cervical cancer, explains Rutgers' Whipple. "But the cervix is extremely sensitive in some women and can provide intense sexual pleasure." On the other hand, many doctors in Europe perform supercervical hysterectomies, which leave the organ intact. "Unless there is a risk of cancer in the patient, for obvious reasons, it's best to request the latter," notes Whipple.

Toys are great but I personally think there is no better way to explore yourself than with your own fingers, after all you expect your partner to! Fingers Most girls probably first discover masturbation by innocently touching their genitals with their fingers. Its therefore probably not surprising that hand and finger stimulation of the vulva and clitoris is reported to be the most common method of masturbation among women. It is also the easiest as nothing extra is needed for a satisfying session. So how to best do it. Nothing is ever as simple as 'one best way for all' so some real life examples picked up from various sources is possibly the best way of illustrating what is involved: Lying on the bed facing up with legs together and ankles crossed. Index finger slipped between the labia majora so that it presses along the length of the clitoris. Gentle but firm wrist movements to make the inserted finger rub the clitoris in up and down, side to side and circular motions.

For other women, the walls of the vagina seem almost without sensation. Anatomically, the sensitive roots of the clitoris extend back to the anterior wall of the vagina, so women may find one or the other or both forms of genital stimulation satisfying. There are many variations in female anatomy that are important to consider. For example, in some women the clitoris is located relatively close to the vaginal entrance making insertive play directly stimulating to the clitoris. In others, this distance is greater, with the result that insertion of a penis, for example, does not provide sufficiently direct clitoral stimulation. In some women, the G-spot is relatively close to the vaginal entrance, in others the distance is greater, and this makes a difference in terms of what sort of penis, sex toy, or digital penetration is preferable for vaginal or G-spot stimulation. Orgasm can occur without genital stimulation at all. Many women find themselves having orgasms in response to fantasies or exciting dreams.

The Bartholin¹s glands (greater vestibular glands) which open just outside the vaginal opening produce a small amount of mucus (just a few drops) and this seems to be secreted just before orgasm. It may be involved in making the chemistry of the vagina less hostile to sperm. Resolution After orgasm many women cannot bear continued direct stimulation of the clitoris and/or vulva (and even the breasts in some) and so pass into a resolution phase, but if the stimulation is maintained at a low level until the sensitivity subsides, avoiding direct clitoral contact, quite a lot of women can have a second or even numerous extra orgasms after the first one, separated by a minute or so. After a few orgasms it seems that clitoral sensitivity subsides and continued stimulation is possible. Possibly multi-orgasmicity is not universal in women, though it is likely that the painful, postorgasmic sensitivity of the clitoris puts many off trying. In men it is possible but is exceedingly rare. In early resolution there may be one or more infrequent contractions of the perineal muscles and anal sphincter that feel pleasurable (often referred top as aftershocks), but basically this is a time when the swelling of the breast and genitals slowly subsides over a period of many minutes (often about 20 mins). Failure to reach orgasm after reaching plateau can be very uncomfortable for some women because there has been no trigger to start the vascular decongestion of the genitals.

Its pleasurable - it had to be number one! It helps you relax - safer than tranquillisers, cheaper than alcohol and no side effects. It helps you get to sleep if you are suffering from insomnia. It can make you feel 'energised' and focused, making study or concentration related tasks easier. It gives a degree of relief from the physical discomforts many feel during periods. It allows you to find out what you like so that you can share your needs with a partner and have better sex. It is always available when sexual tensions need releasing - not always true of partner sex. It allows you to have as much gratification as you want, when you want it and at your speed - partner sex cannot compete.
